It’s been nearly one and a half years since we lost our second family Golden Retriever, Hank Jacoby Todd, on October 23, 2024.
What took so long to write about a dog we loved so much?
Well, first of all, it hurts to look back at all of these memories.
Secondly, he lived a good long 13 years, and all of those years were in the age of social media. So there are HUNDREDS of pictures to go through and collect.
And thirdly, after Steve’s retirement he really tried to stay away from his laptop.
But Jacoby’s great life is simply too incredible not to remember.
So as the calendar turned to 2026, Steve got out his favorite mug and sat down to finish Jacoby’s memoirs.
