After a great visit with Matthew, Jacoby, Steve, Katy, and Matthew rolled back across the border to visit the Hauck family in Seattle and Matthew’s UMaine classmate. After a great long weekend, Matthew made the trip back to Vancouver and the three best friends rolled south!
We camped in Oregon and had a reunion in our trailer with two of Katy’s Cottey classmates: Jennie and Joy.
But Jacoby was impatient because he wanted to go visit HIS GIRL BECKY! So south we went, crossing into the land of the Redwood Forest, heading East to stay overnight at a Walmart in Redding, CA, before settling into our new campground in Sacramento. And up to Roseville we went, where Jacoby patiently waited outside Becky and Mike’s apartment in Roseville.
Becky and Mike had chosen an apartment complex with dog-friendly outdoor parks. What a reunion!
For Thanksgiving, Mike invited Jacoby over to meet some new friends: Riley and Lexi.
Jacoby loved the greater Sacramento and had many adventures, exploring the Gold Rush State Park and Beals Point.
After a great Thanksgiving and Christmas (with a quick trip to Cabo without Jacoby!) the three best friends brought Jacoby to an epic San Fran landmark before they headed south to the Sequoias and Palm Springs.
