Jacoby’s best friend, whether he wanted her to be or not, was Honey Kurtz! His crazy niece was a constant presence in his life.
They spent a lot of time traveling together in the back seat of the car, jockeying for position.
They spent time at the Cape together.
They went for many, many walks in the woods together.
They took golf cart rides together.
They spent a lot of time together by the fire at the Bluffs.
Honey was a frequent sleepover guest at Jacoby’s house in North Andover….
… and Jacoby was always welcomed by Honey when he visited her house in Weymouth.
We are lucky to have a picture of the last time these two beautiful goldens were together. In October 2024, Steve had both dogs up at the Bluffs as he was closing up camp. He was splitting and stacking wood for the next season with the two dogs watching him. He took one last picture.
