After growing up in Shrewsbury, Jacoby had become nomadic, living nearly all of 2019 in a trailer.
But as the calendar turned to 2020, and that trailer was undergoing repairs, Jacoby and family moved in to live with Aunt Julie in Lawrence, MA. This marked the start of Jacoby’s eventual move to the Merrimack Valley, where he would grow to become a legend with many of Julie’s friends (and even be invited to be the sole witness at a wedding!). He would also become an author (see below)!
His Auntie loved him so much and was thrilled that Jacoby’s sunny disposition would be a part of her daily life for the next four months, until the Bluffs re-opened and we would relocate north.
But the pictures below highlight just how much time Jacoby would spend with his Auntie at Durso Ave in Lawrence.

When Julie came downstairs in the morning, she would usually hear Jacoby’s tail thump before she saw him. He loved to lie under her dining room table and she used to get down on the floor with him whenever possible!

He loved Aunt Julie’s back porch (because it meant that he could go outside and lay in the yard!).

Julie’s yard was where Jacoby modeled rest and relaxation.

Jacoby decided to teach us all how to slow down by authoring his epic book, Jacoby Zen.

And finally, Jacoby and Julie shared a love of GrampaT, and visited him together.
