We had stayed in one state (AZ) for so long that Jacoby was getting used to being stationary. But we pulled him aside to let him know that we were about to embark on a marathon trip from AZ to TX to FL!
After we left cousin Sandy in Wickenburg, AZ, we stayed a few days in Benson, AZ to visit Tombstone and Kartchner Caverns. It was a dusty site in the desert!
We then drove from Benson AZ to the Dallas, TX area, with a brief stop in El Paso to fix a spare tire. Jacoby was tired!
We made it to our campground near Dallas, where Katy visited with her Cottey friend Candy. Our site had grass, which was quite a difference from the desert!
And then we drove 1100 miles in 18 hours and ended up near Orlando, Florida!
