One of the best memories of our cross-country trip was finally getting out on the road and setting up camp in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Katy and Steve were so relieved to be traveling after months of planning!
These pictures of Jacoby romping with his Momma on a highway rest stop in South Dakota are some of our favorites.

The first full day of our arrival was Jacoby’s birthday: October 25, 2017. One of the nicknames we had for him was “Bad Dog” to tease him because he was always such a good boy. We would speak to him in a happy voice and say “You’re such a bad dog, Jacoby!”
So for his birthday we took the Bad Dog to the Badlands!

We also visited Mt Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Monument, The Needles, and Wind Cave. We took great pictures and videos on our travels, just enjoying our great trip and dog.

Jacoby was also very happy to greet some of the wildlife on our trip! Click on the link below to see some nervous buffalo licking.
