Jacoby had spent a good amount of time hiking in the Pemigewasset Wilderness of NH, so Steve took him to a new area: the Great Gulf Wilderness. We had a plan to hike up Madison Gulf Trail and hike down Osgood trail. So on the first day Steve and Jacoby hiked into the Osgood tentsite.
We made sure we had plenty of Aunt Julie’s bug spray for the hike ahead.
On the way up Madison Gulf trail we had plenty of beautiful sites!
But the higher we went, the more Steve had to carry Jacoby up the trail (Jacoby doesn’t like to be carried!) The picture below was the highest level that we got on the trail.
It was a beautiful hike, but it was over! Steve and Jacoby walked back down the trail to their tentsite and headed back to the Bluffs!
